Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota Online MBA - Healthcare Administration or Healthcare Analytics

Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota (SMUMN) offers an accelerated online MBA with an optional healthcare administration or healthcare analytics certificate. The certificates may be earned as stand-alone graduate certificates or combined with the accelerated MBA program to create a specialized MBA. Additionally, these graduate certificates can be applied to other master’s programs offered by SMUMN.

The online MBA and certificates are fully online, and students have the option of completing their capstone project locally or abroad in one of five cities: Rome, Florence, Milan, Barcelona, or Paris. International experiences include cultural mentoring, hotel accommodations, planned business visits, a transportation pass where applicable, and cultural excursions. The capstone project requires students to analyze and evaluate competitive strategies used by businesses and then design a plan to address the needs of a specific organization.

SMUMN is a Lasallian Catholic university, preparing graduates to lead and serve in an ethical manner. Core principles of the Lasallian tradition include respect for all people, a quality education, diversity, faith in the presence of God, concern for the poor, and social justice. Courses focus on managerial economics, operations management, corporate finance, marketing, strategic management, organizational and human behavior, and ethical leadership.

The accelerated pace allows students taking 12 credits per semester to earn their MBA plus a healthcare analytics or healthcare administration certificate in about 15 months. The graduate certificates can be completed in just two semesters. Career pathways may include leadership and management positions in the healthcare industry including hospitals, healthcare systems, clinics, governmental organizations, and long-term healthcare facilities.
