Those without a bachelor’s degree in business may need to take foundations of accounting, finance, and economics; foundations of management, human resources, and business law; and foundations of marketing and the management of information systems. These courses can be waived for applicants with a bachelor’s degree in business.

Healthcare management courses include healthcare administration; healthcare finance; law for healthcare professionals; the healthcare system; marketing for healthcare programs; and healthcare policy. Management competency courses include data analysis and modeling for managers, and operations and production management. Capstone courses include strategic management and competing in a global business environment.

Online Experience: The College of Mount Saint Vincent delivers courses asynchronously through Canvas. This may include recorded lectures, readings, case studies, research, assignments, assessments, and discussion boards. Students can access the Academic Resource Center for one-on-one support, group tutorials, workshops, help with writing and study skills, and online tutoring.

Other services include financial aid support, technical support, library services, mental health services, and alumni support. CMSV runs the Oxley Integrated Advising Program, which helps students find their strengths and interests and apply those to create a satisfying career path.
